How to Get Here

By Car
Yamba is 7 hours north from Sydney along the Pacific Highway and 3 hours south from Brisbane.
Yamba is 1.5 hours north of Coffs Harbour and 1.5 hours south of Byron Bay.

By Plane
Passengers can either arrive at Grafton City Airport with Regional Express, Lismore City Airport with Regional Express and Ballina Airport with Jet Star, Regional Express and Virgin Blue.
An Airport Shuttle Service is available between Coffs Harbour and Brisbane phone (02) 66463800.
There is also a private air strip at Palmers Island available for aircraft landing.

By Sea
The crossing of the Yamba bar is one of the safest on the east coast of Australia and is home to the Yamba Marina. For information on crossing the bar contact the Waterways Authority,
the pilot station or the Iluka/Yamba Coastguard for conditions.

By Bus
GREYHOUND BUS NOW STOPPING AT YAMBA YHA TWICE DAILY
Travelling South GX 421@8:45pm daily and travelling North GX 244@8:05am daily.
All major bus companies travel the Pacific Highway and have arrangements to stop either at Maclean CBD or on the Pacific Highway at the Ferry Park Tourist Complex on the outskirts of Maclean.
Yamba YHA has a mini bus that can pick up at either stops by prior arrangement.

By Rail
Trains arrive at Grafton City Railway station daily with connections to CountryLink buses and
arrangements can be made with the Clarence Valley Airport Shuffle Service.
